Rocket League’s developers Psyonix announced on April 1st that an all new game mode “Hoops” will be coming to Rocket League this April. No date was officially released as of yet, however this update looks as promising as can be. From Rocket League’s official website:

New Mode – “Hoops”

The patch (scheduled for release late April), will bring the all-new, basketball-inspired game mode to the Rocket League community. “Hoops” will be available in Exhibition, Private Match or new Casual Playlist that pits players against each other in a 2v2 showdown. Look out for Hoops and its exclusive Arena, “Dunk House,” soon!

Rocket League has taken off in the last year being on the biggest multiplatform games to ever release, playing on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Since Rocket League’s release they’ve given their community nothing but quality updates for the most part, and I expect this one to be the same.
